2. Is You Make the Call! played online or offline?
Either! The online version of You Make the Call! offers an effective method for role-playing from anywhere. For example, John in Chicago can play You Make the Call! with Jane in New York. And their manager in Cleveland has the option to join them in order to coach/observe! The online version meets the previously unmet need of facilitating effective role play remotely. While it's a great solution for virtual training when travel budgets have been tightened, the online version can also be played in a classroom setting as long as the training rooms have reliable internet service. We also offer an easy-to-use offline version of You Make the Call! software that does not require an internet connection.

4. How much does You ake the Call! cost?
Usage rights for You Make the Call! are sold by administrative license which are usually valid for one year. An administrator is anyone who needs access to the web-hosted administrator tool to create, edit, and/or publish games. Please contact us for detailed pricing information.

5. Who should play You Make the Call!?
You Make the Call! can be played by sales representatives, customer service representatives, coaches, and mentors in any industry. You Make the Call! engages your participants in an unprecedented amount of quality role-playing, so they're better prepared to interact with their customers and/or colleagues.

6. How many people can play You Make the Call!?
Since You Make the Call! facilitates repetitive role play, you need at least two people to interact with each other. There is no maximum to the number of people that can play the offline version at one time. As a matter of fact, one of our customers had 325 people play in one ballroom at the same time! With the online version of You Make the Call!, two individuals compete against each other with the option to include an observer/coach. But again, there is no limit to the number of people that can play at the same time.

7. What are the different ways you can play You Make the Call!?
The online version of You Make the Call! can be played by either two individuals or by two groups, as long as the members of the two groups are together in the same location. For example, during a district sales meeting, the Austin district might log on to You Make the Call! Online and compete against the Dallas district. With either One-on-One or Group play, there is the option for a coach/observer to join the game session remotely. The offline version of You Make the Call! is played in one of two ways. Team Play features two pairs playing against each other. Because of the small size of the teams, Team Play allows each player multiple opportunities to role-play. In Group Play, two groups compete against each other. The advantage of Group Play is that it allows for a larger group to share best practices (We recommend 5-7 players per team, maximum.).

8. How long does it take to play You Make the Call!?
With the online version of You Make the Call!, the game administrator specifies the duration of games for players. The game length can be anything up to 120 minutes. For the offline version, the recommended ideal game length is 60 to 90 minutes. For the online version, the recommended ideal length is 30 to 40 minutes. However, during game set-up, players can enter any game length up to 120 minutes. This allows players to customize the length of the game to meet their specific time constraints each time they play.

9. Does the game come with instructions on how to play?
The game comes fully loaded with a user tutorial that can be accessed from the online session invitation or the opening screen in the offline game. The tutorial explains everything one needs to know in order to play, and it's easy to navigate.

10. How do I create and change content?
You Make the Call! comes with a web-hosted administrator tool that provides users with the ability to create, edit, and publish content using an easy-to-navigate "wizard". The administrator tool includes on demand training tutorials and two reference documents - one on how to use the tool itself and another on how to create good content. The user tutorial can also be accessed via the administrator tool.

11. Can You Make the Call! pull through and reinforce my company’s selling skills terminology?
Absolutely! The patent-pending methodology of You Make the Call! Virtual Role-Play Platform includes repetitive pull-through and reinforcement of fundamental selling skills. Within the administrator tool, you customize the list of selling skills that are included in the game to match your company's specific terminology. And if you want to, you can create a different list of Hidden Skills for every game that you create. This allows you the flexibility to use You Make the Call! to reinforce a variety of selling skills, communication skills, and/or key marketing messages.

12. How is You Make the Call! delivered?
You Make the Call! is a subscription software (also known as software as a service). Clients access the You Make the Call! administrator tool via a secure website. You can create, edit, and publish customized activities via this web-hosted administrator tool. You can deliver offline games to end users by either sending them a link from which they can download a copy of the game, or you can publish to a zipped folder which you or your IT department can distribute however you choose. You Make the Call! Online session are set-up via the administrator tool, as well, however there is nothing to download. Players receive an email with a link to the session which is hosted by You Make the Call!, Inc. on a secure server.

13. Does each player have to install You Make the Call! software on his or her computer? That would not make my company’s IT department happy!
Fear not! No installation of software is required for either the offline version or the online version. For online sessions, you send an email via the administrator tool to all players with a link to the logon page for the activity, which is hosted on our secure server. Once you publish an offline game via the web-hosted administrator tool, you distribute a zipped game folder to all end users. This zipped folder contains everything players need to run the game without having to install a special application or software.

14. Can I create multiple games?
Yes. The administrator tool allows you to create and publish more than one game. Once access has been granted to the administrator tool and tutorials are viewed, you can begin creating content immediately. And with an unlimited use administrator license for You Make the Call!, you get unlimited usage rights to create as many customized versions of the game as you need!

15. What will my I.T. department want to know about the technical requirements for You Make the Call!?
The minimum operating system requirements for using You Make the Call! are Mac OS 10.4 or later, Windows XP or later. Other technical requirements include Flash Player version 9 or later and any of the following web browsers: Firefox version 2 or higher, Internet Explorer version 7 or higher, Safari 3 or higher. Online game sessions communicate via a binary socket (AKA "binary") connection via port 443.

16. What type of support is available?
Unlimited level 2 technical support is included with the purchase of an administrator license for You Make the Call!

17. How long does it take to get up and running?
Not long at all! You will be assigned a unique username and password within a few days of purchasing a pay-per-use administrator license via this website. For unlimited use administrator licenses, login information will be provided as soon as You Make the Call!, Inc. receives a signed order form and a purchase order (P.O.) number from your company. Once you have been assigned a username and password with which to access the web-hosted administrator tool, you can begin creating content and publishing games immediately. The administrator tool includes on demand training tutorials and two reference documents - one on how to use the tool itself and another on how to create good customized content. The user tutorial can also be accessed via the administrator tool.

18. Am I able to track usage and scores with You Make the Call!?
Yes, with the online version of You Make the Call! a variety of useful information is saved on our secure server. You can track who has logged on and played the game and how long the session lasted. You can also track which region or team scored the highest cumulative number of points, and which skills your employees executed most consistently. Consequently, You Make the Call! can be used to facilitate motivating competitions among your sales force and/or other work team. Unfortunately, it is not possible to track usage information with the offline version of You Make the Call!

19. What kind of training is offered for licensed administrators?
The administrator tool includes everything you need to get started, including two illustrated reference documents - one on how to use the tool itself and another on how to create good customized content. The user tutorial can also be accessed via the administrator tool. In addition, on demand training tutorials on creating sessions are available via the administrator tool.

20. I don’t have time to create my own game content. Can you please help me?
Fear not! You probably already have appropriate role-play scenarios from previous role-play exercises. If so, you can simply copy and paste them into the web-hosted administrator tool to customize your sessions. Also, the administrator tool includes a handy library of sample scenarios from which you're encouraged to steal shamelessly!

21. What are Branch Accounts?
Branch Accounts enable local managers or trainers to set up online sessions using content that has been created and approved by a home office administrator. Managers can view usage reports that are specific to their local teams via the web-hosted administrator tool. The purchase of at least one unlimited use Named Administrator License is required before Branch Accounts can be added.
